Confirm‎ Truth Through The Bible! -Shincheonji-

Confirm‎ Truth Through The Bible!
-Shincheonji-

To the Loving Congregation Members of the New Testament

Instead of believing in the false testimonies, let us believe in the testimonies of truth. Rather than the words of false pastors, let us believe in God and Jesus’ words of promise.

Through God’s promise with Abraham (Gn 15), Israel came out of Egypt and entered the land of Canaan. Through God’s promise with the prophets of the Old Testament (Jer 31:22-31), Jesus did the new thing (new work), sowed the seed, and made the new covenant (Mt 13, Lk 22). Through the promise of the New Testament (Mt 13:24-30), Jesus is doing the work of harvest today (Rev 14:14-16). Those who are not harvested become the weeds, the children of the devil (Mt 13:37-43). Why don’t you believe this? Confirm in detail‎! Truth through the Bible! -Shincheonji-

Like the pastors of Jerusalem during Jesus’ first coming who called Jesus “a cult, cult” and interfered with the sowing of God’s seed, the secrets of heaven, there are those today who interfere with the work of harvest by posting up “Harvesters(Mt 13:39), Do Not Enter” signs and labeling them “a cult, heretics” during this time of harvest. One must not believe in the false pastors who do not have the Word, but must confirm‎ what is factual, believe in Jesus’ words of promise, and be harvested and sealed to be saved.

Judgment will soon begin. Why don’t you believe in the promise of the new covenant? Not keeping the promised new covenant results in hell, and keeping it results in heaven. Why are you cursing the ‘new heaven and new earth, Shincheonji’ that Jesus promised through revelation?  Shincheonji, the new heaven and new earth, is created according to the New Testament, Revelation. This is a name that Jesus promised.
It is said that the ‘first heaven and first earth’ (Spiritual Israel, churches of tradition) pass away(Rev 21:1). Let’s not believe in ignorant false pastors who will lead us to hell, but let’s believe in Jesus’ truth and promise and go to heaven.

This era now is when the Word and God are not with churches of tradition or seminaries. The Word and God are only with Zion Christian Mission Center of Shincheonji. You can confirm‎ this through the Bible. Truth is victorious!

Shincheonji Teaching: Spiritual War and Persecution

<Shincheonji Bible Teaching>

'Spiritual War and Persecution'

  • Eph 6:11-17
11.Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12.For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13.Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14.Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15.and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16.In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17.Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Who are those who killed the prophets and the apostles whom God sent in the past 6,000 years of God’s work? Why did they kill?

As written, the people who killed those whom God sent were not nonbelievers of Gentiles, but they were the pastors of the chosen people who claimed to believe in God.

The reasons for their murders were:
① that their gods (the spirits) were different,
② and that they wanted to hold on to their ecclesiastical authorities and congregation,
③ and that their teachings were different.

The pastors of that era were the ones who personally killed the messengers whom God sent, and the pastors killed under the control of Satan (the evil spirit).

Although the congregation members belonging to the pastors did not directly persecute like the pastors, they did become one with the pastors and participated in the persecution.

Shincheonji Bible Teaching, Spiritual Milk

Shincheonji Bible Teaching
"Spiritual Milk"

  • 1Peter 2:2

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation

If a person does not eat, his physical body will die. Likewise, if one’s spirit does not consume spiritual milk, it will die.

What does the spiritual milk mean in this verse?

Spiritual milk is the prophecy of Revelation and its physical fulfillment!

The one who overcomes (refer to Revelation 2, 3), in other words, the promised pastor in Revelation, brings the food of eternal life that heals and resurrects the dry and shriveled spirits that died.
Can you believe this? Yet, they call him a heresy.

This food of eternal life is the hidden manna in Revelation 2:17.

Finding and eating this hidden manna is finding and eating the food of eternal life.

Shincheonji Question, Where is Kingdom of Heaven in the Bible?

<Shincheonji Bible Question>
"Where is the Kingdom of Heaven
in the Bible?"

A Basis For Belief, the Prophecy of the New Testament

God created the heavens and the earth and all things in them. Therefore, the father of all creation is God, the Creator. So God loves all creation. All creation should love the true God.

God has given the people of today’s world a basis for belief. This basis is ‘the prophecy of the New Testament.” God and Jesus gave us what will be fulfilled today as the New Testament and therefore we should believe the New Testament. Jesus told us this so that when it does happen, we will believe (Jn 14:29).

--------John 14:29
I have told you now before it happens,
so that when it does happen you will believe--------

Revelation is the summary of the promise God made in the New Testament.
God made this promise so that when it does happen we will believe (John 14:29).

Let us all believe in the New Testament and enter the kingdom of heaven.
The kingdom of heaven is in Revelation 3:12.
Let us make the word of promise our path and go to God.

[Shincheonji Bible Teaching] In the Days of Noah, Lot & Son of Man

<Shincheonji Bible Teaching]>
In the Days of Noah, Lot
and the Son of Man

It is said that the Lord’s Second Coming will be like
the times of Noah and Lot in Matthew 24:37-39, Luke 17:26-30.
In the days of Noah and Lot, the price that people paid
for not listening to the word was destruction.
This is an era when a corrupt generation is destroyed
and ends and a new generation is created.

Like the times of Noah and Lot, orthodoxy constitutes a person, pastor who receives the revelation directly from God and the organization, church that belongs to that pastor.

  • Lk 17:26-30
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:  They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.  Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;  but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.  Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

  • Mt 24:37-39
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,  and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Orthodoxy constitutes a person (pastor) who receives the revelation directly from God and the organization (church) that belongs to that pastor.

When Noah preached the direct message from God to the world of Adam (refer to 2Pt 2:5) before the flood judgment, people of Adam’s world didn’t acknowledge it, asserting that they were orthodox.(refer to 1Pt 3:19-20) When Lot spoke the revelation of God to the people in Sodom, they didn’t believe his words (Gn 19:14). When the prophets in the days of the Old Testament prophesied the direct revelation of God to Judah and Jerusalem, they not only didn’t believe the prophets but also killed all of them, persecuting them as heretics. Pastors and believers of each era were the ones who persecuted and killed the pastors whom God sent. The Scripture clearly testifies such action (Mt 5:11-12, 23:29-35, Acts 7:51-53).

When Jesus testified the revealed word received from God to people of Judah and Israel at his First Coming, they did not receive it, asserting their orthodoxy, rather they persecuted and killed Jesus and his disciples as heretics (Mt26:57-58, Mt27, Jn 15:18-21, Lk20:9-16). Just as it is written that the days of the Second Coming will be like the days of Noah and Lot, it is actually occurring in reality.

It is said that the Lord’s Second Coming will be like the times of Noah and Lot in Matthew 24:37-39, Luke 17:26-30.
In the days of Noah and Lot, the price that people paid for not listening to the word was destruction.
This is an era when a corrupt generation is destroyed and ends and a new generation is created.

Shincheonji Bible Study: Heaven & Hell

<Shincheonji Bible Study>
Heaven and Hell,
the Beginning and End

<Shincheonji Bible Study>

Heaven and Hell, let us take a look at the beginning and the end.

Approximately 2,600 years ago, God promised the new work, the sowing of two seeds and the new covenant through Jeremiah (beginning). Six hundred years later, Jesus came and sowed the seed (Mt 13), and established a new covenant, promising to come back to harvest, seal (Rv 7) and establish the new kingdom and people(Lk 22:14-20).

Today, the traditional churches have come to an end as the new kingdom and people (those who have been harvested and sealed according to the New Testament) have been established. The prophecy spoken through Jeremiah is the beginning and the fulfillment of Revelation is the end.

Those who do not believe will be like those who are written in Revelation 21:8, and those who believe will be like those who are written in Revelation 21:7. Heaven is not a place that one goes to, but heaven is a place that comes—to the new kingdom and people, just as it is written in Revelation 3:12 and 3:21.

※ Jesus came 2,000 years ago and said, "There is no one righteous, not even one.” (Rom 3:10) This is true. Because mankind inherited the genes of Adam, who sinned in the beginning, they have become slaves to sin and thus slaves to the serpent(Satan, Rev20:2).

“And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home – these he kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day” (Jude 1:6), “for if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in to gloomy dungeons to be held for judgement” (2 Pt 2:4). According to Revelation 9: 14-16, the number of the angels who were bound at the great river Euphrates was two hundred million.

Jesus, who died and came to life again, holds the keys of hell and Hades. In Revelation 21:7-8, it says that the one who overcomes will become God’s son, and the unbelieving and liars will be thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. Whoever has been born with the gene of Adam (who sinned) is also a sinner, and whoever has not been born again will be thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Those who are born again will become a child of God, the Holy One.
Can anyone boast about themselves in front of God and the Scriptures?

Shincheonji, As a Cult Without Biblical Basis, Why?

Shincheonji, As a Cult
Without Biblical Basis or Reasoning
Why is Shincheonji a Cult?

Congregation members from many different churches are flocking to Shincheonji Church of Jesus (Shincheonji) by experiencing the word of truth and the work that is being fulfilled according to the Bible. This is why the Protestant pastors are labeling Shincheonji as a Cult organization without any biblical basis or reasoning.

Why is Shincheonji a Cult?
◀ The Reason is right over here
How about the persecution in today’s time, the time of the fulfillment of Revelation which Jesus prophesied in the New Testament?

It was not the time to seize and lock up Satan at the time of the Old Testament or Jesus’ first coming (Mt 8:28-34). But today, the time of the Second Coming, is the time of seizing Satan and locking him up in the Abyss (Rev 20:1-3). Because Satan knows that his remaining days are numbered (Rev 12:12), today’s testing, deception, and persecution are more extreme than any other times in the past.

Congregation members from many different churches are flocking to Shincheonji Church of Jesus (Shincheonji) by experiencing the word of truth and the work that is being fulfilled according to the Bible. This is why the Protestant pastors are labeling Shincheonji as a heretical(Cult) organization without any biblical basis or reasoning.

[Shincheonji Answer 21] Standard of Religion, Bible

[Shincheonji Answer]
The True Standard
for People of Religion
is Bible!

The true standard for people of religion is not that.
It is the Bible.
The Bible is God.

  • Mr. Byoung Chul Lee, Question 21.
They say the decision made by the Roman pope is infallible. He is also a human being so how can he claim such self-righteousness?

  • Shincheonji Answer 21.
I think you are talking about the authority to make a decision inside the pope’s organization (Catholic Church). I think the authority was given to the pope because whether it is about one thing or another a decision has to be made.

The true standard for people of religion is not that. It is the Bible. The Bible is God. The decisions should be made based on God’s standards. There is no perfection before the new generation born of God’s seed and the Father of heaven come. Everyone must know the promised will of the Bible and speak accordingly. I do not think it is something man could judge.

[Shincheonji Answer 19] Catholic Population & Communist Nations

[Shincheonji Answer 19]
Catholic Population & Communist Nations

It says in the Bible, the creation was subjected to frustration,
not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it.

<Shincheonji Answer 19th> It says in the Bible, the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it.
-Rom 8:20-22

  • Mr. Lee Byoungchul, Question 19.
They say Catholicism and communism are extreme opposites. Why then did nations with a large Catholic population become communist? For example: Poland and other Eastern European countries, Nicaragua.

  • Shincheonji Answer 19
It was not something the Catholics wanted. It says in the Bible, the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it. What creation hopes for is liberation from its bondage to decay and be brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God (Rom 8:20-21). All believers know those who are under communism are under pressure, groan and suffer; and we groan with them. We pray to God for their freedom.

<Shincheonji Answer 19th> It says in the Bible,,,,

※ Rom 8:20-22
For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.   We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

Shincheonji Questions in the Bible!

Shincheonji
Questions
in the Bible!

The holy spirit can master the deepest things of heaven (1Co 2:10). Our faith must be accompanied by a knowledge of the word. We should speak from the Bible, answering questions using only the Bible.

Can you answer this questions in the bible?
Answer this bible questions below only with bible~!

I would like to ask everyone who reads this article: How many of the New Testament prophecies do you know? Do you merely claim to believe without knowing the word? What are the two nations that battle against each other in Matthew 24 and Revelation? Who are the destroyers that stand on holy place? To which mountain must people flee in the midst of this destruction? What are the sun and moon that go dark? What are the stars that fall? If Jesus comes with his angels with a loud trumpet blast and gathers his elect from the north, south, east, and west (Mt 24:31; Lk 13:29), where is the place to which he gathers them? If the elect are gathered at the wedding banquet of the kingdom of heaven, where is the banquet located? What does it mean for the scriptures to say that the days of the Son of Man will be like the days of Noah (Mt 24:37-39)? What does it mean for Jesus to come like a thief bringing his angels for the harvest (1Th 5:1-3; Mt 13:39)? If the distribution of the food at the proper time coincides with this harvest (Mt 24:45-47), who is the one that gives people their food at the proper time? What does this food represent? If those who prepare the lamp and the oil can receive the Lord, what do the lamp and oil represent? Who is the one that sells the oil (Mt 25:1-13)? What do the wedding clothes represent (Mt 22:1-14)?

When God promised that Elijah would come before the messenger of the covenant, he was talking about John the Baptist (Mt 11:10-14, 17:10-13; Lk 1:13-17). When God promised to come, he fulfilled it by coming to Jesus (Ps 118:26; Jn 5:43). This is why Jesus referred to John the Baptist as Elijah. Jesus also said he had come in the name of God and that seeing him was like seeing the father (Jn 12:44-45). The Spirit of truth (the Counselor or Advocate), whom Jesus sends in his own name, is the spirit who speaks on Jesus' behalf. If that spirit dwells within a person, how should we address that person (Jn 14)? Isn’t it better to be able to answer these questions than to rashly persecute those who can answer them?

In the book of Revelation, which is a prophecy (i.e. revelation through visions), the revelation is passed down from God to Jesus, from Jesus to his angel, and from the angel to Apostle John. Finally, John testifies to the servants about the word of God and the testimony of Jesus – what he sees and hears (Rev 1:1-3). Since the testimony of John, who speaks on Jesus' behalf, is the same as the testimony of Jesus, anyone who refuses to accept John's testimony is refusing Jesus' testimony. Please also notice that the “one who reads” the book of Revelation is different from “those who hear it” (Rev 1:3).

Today, God, Jesus, the angel, and Apostle John are all spirits. Revelation, however, must become a physical reality just as the Old Testament became a physical reality in Jesus. Who, then, is the promised pastor (messenger) that testifies about the revealed word in Rev 10 and the physical fulfillment of all the chapters of Revelation after seeing and hearing them in reality? Is there anyone confident enough to say, "I can believe the physical fulfillment without understanding anything of these things you have mentioned!”?

Who are the seven messengers promised in Revelation 2 and 3? Who are the Nicolaitans (i.e. Satan)? What do the fruit of the tree of life, the hidden manna, the white stone, and the iron scepter that rules over all nations each represent? What does it mean to be written in the book of life? What does it mean for the one who overcomes to have God's name, the name of the holy city, and Jesus' new name written on him? Who is the one that defeats the Nicolaitans and is rewarded with right to sit on the throne of Jesus? Are you sure it is acceptable not to know these things?

Who belongs to the kingdom of God and its priests that were purchased by the blood of Jesus in Rev 5? If anyone who has truly witnessed these events were to proclaim what he saw and heard, would he not be persecuted as a heretic? What does it mean when Rev 6 says that the sun and moon become dark and that the stars fall to the earth? How can we understand the disappearance of heaven and earth? Who are the people that hide themselves after being abandoned? In Rev 7, who are the 144,000 of the 12 tribes sealed by God and who are the great multitude dressed in white robes? When and where do these people appear in reality? Can anyone be considered orthodox or be saved without belonging to the 12 tribes? Please answer these questions.

What do the seven trumpets in Rev 8 indicate? Rev 9 mentions horses with tails that have heads on them. If fire, smoke, and sulfur come out of their mouths to kill a third of humanity, what is the physical reality of this killing? When and where does this disaster occur? Who is the one that eats the revealed scroll from heaven and who are the peoples, nations, languages, and kings that receive the revealed words in Rev 10?

What does the beast of Rev 11 represent? Who are the two witnesses that are killed by the beast? Where and through whom is the seventh trumpet sounded? Can anyone receive salvation without hearing the sound of the seventh trumpet? Anyone who wants to claim to be orthodox or to have already been saved must be able to answer to these questions. Should we believe that members of a denomination that once worshipped the Japanese emperor instead of God are orthodox or that they have already been saved?

If the salvation, power, and kingdom of God (heaven) come when the group of the beast is overcome in Rev 12, and the fulfillment of these events are proclaimed from heaven, which heaven is it? Who are the woman, her male child, and the group of the dragon that are mentioned in Rev 12? Who are the people mentioned in Rev 13 that receive the mark of the beast and then worship him? When and where do they appear? Shouldn’t we be aware of all of these things?
What is Mt. Zion in Rev 14? Who are the 144,000 firstfruits that have the name of God and the name of the Lamb written on their foreheads and that sing a new song before the throne at Mt. Zion? What is the new song that they sing before the throne? Where is the sea of glass by which those who have conquered the beast and his image and the number of his name stand (Rev 15)? Where is the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony to which all nations come and worship?

Who are the ones on whom the bowls of God's wrath are poured because of their betrayal (Rev 16)? Where is the throne of the beast? Rev 16 also mentions evil spirits that come out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. After coming out of their mouths, the spirits gather all the kings of the earth to Armageddon to wage war against God. Who are these kings of the earth? Where do the kings of the earth belong and with whom do they side? The kings of the earth commit sexual immorality with the prostitute who sits on the seven heads and ten horns of the dragon, and all the inhabitants of the earth become drunk with the wine of her immorality (Rev 17). What is the true identity of this wine of immorality? Do you think all the kings and inhabitants of the earth who unite themselves with the prostitute will obtain salvation?

What is the wine of immorality that causes all the nations to fall in Rev 18? Who are the merchants, the captains of every ship, the sailors, and their passengers? Who are the ones that marry the devil? When and where do they appear? After this event, people are invited to the wedding banquet of the Lamb; they come from the north, south, east, and west (Rev 19). Where is this wedding banquet held? From where are the people who are gathered coming? If Rev 20 testifies that the people whose flesh has united with the spirits will reign as kings with Christ for one thousand years, where does this happen? When do the first heaven and first earth disappear (Rev 21)? Where are the new heaven and new earth? Where does the holy city descend from heaven? Who are the ones that tell lies to confuse others instead of believing in these events when they become physical realities? Have those liars seen and heard the physical fulfillment of Revelation? Who are the ones that have God's name written on their foreheads and that reign as kings for ever and ever in Rev 22? What is the holy city that has the tree of life bearing 12 kinds of fruit? What is the water in which we must wash our robes to enter the holy city? What does it mean when the scriptures say that names are written in the book of life? Who are the dogs, sorcerers, idolaters, sexually immoral, and liars? What is the idol that these idolaters have worshipped? Furthermore, who are the spirit and bride? Who are the ones that add to or take away from the words of Revelation?

Please judge for yourself the identity of the true heretics. Is it those who understand the answers to all these questions and obey, or is it those who neither know the word nor obey it? Can anyone become orthodox and receive both the spirit and salvation without belonging to the 12 tribes of God or the multitude dressed in the white robes that are promised in Revelation?

Anyone who wants to know the answers to all of these questions should come to learn the new song at Mt. Zion – the place promised in the Bible – so that they might become a good grain (Rev 14:1-3). Today, there is a place where the physical fulfillment of the New Testament has appeared. The testimony about this fulfillment is being proclaimed, just as Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament at the first coming and testified about that fulfillment. Do not allow your ecclesiastical authority make you arrogant. Humble yourself and speak only the truth. Only when you repent, learn, and believe the words with obedience, can there be salvation for you. Again, today is the time of Revelation’s fulfillment.

Shincheonji Bible Study: Meaning Behind Promises of New Testament

The Meaning
Behind the Promises
of the New Testament
[Shincheonji Bible Study]

Not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only he who does the will of God (Mt 7:21).

  • Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’  Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Today, what we have to believe in is the prophecy of the New Testament. Having a true faith is to see this prophecy being fulfilled, believe in it (Jn 14:29), and act accordingly.

Someone may think that he is carrying out a life of faith, but if he does not know the meaning behind the promises of the New Testament and does not know what content is in it, then how can he perceive and believe when the promises fulfill?

The Bible, especially the New Testament, speaks of the true God and the false god who is the devil and Satan. Contents on God’s Word and Satan’s word are also written in the bible.

There are also events that must take place in the future, in the bible.

The Bible also shows that the result for those who believe and those who do not believe is either heaven or hell, eternal life or eternal punishment.

Shincheonji Bible Study: Seed, in the Bible

[Shincheonji Bible Study]
"Seed", in the Bible

Those who Go to Heaven and Receive Eternal Life And
Those who Go to Hell and Receive Eternal Punishment

Main reference: Luke 8:11

Who will go to heaven and receive eternal life?
Who will go to hell and receive eternal punishment?

Heaven is the paradise where God dwells, and eternal life is to live eternally like God in this paradise.

Hell is a place where Satan is at, and it is a prison where people will receive punishment forever for the sins they committed.

The people who will enter these two places are different from one another.

One is born of God’s seed and the other is born of Satan’s seed.

God dwells with the people born of His seed, while Satan dwells with the people born of his seed.

Then, what is this "Seed" in the Bible?

  • Luke 8:11
This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.

Shincheonji Animation, The Promised Pastor

Shincheonji and Bible
"The Promised pastor"
in the Bible

  • The Promised Pastor in the Bible

What kind of pastor is the promised pastor?

There are four kinds of pastors in the Bible.

Of those that belong to God, there is a pastor of prophecy, a promised pastor, and a general pastor; and there is a false pastor who belongs to Satan.

The false pastor who belongs to Satan is the one set up by Satan in order to persecute and hinder God’s work and pastor.

These pastors can be seen in both the Old and the New Testament.

A pastor of prophecy is chosen by God to preach what God will fulfill in the future.

A general pastor is one set up by men to preach to the future generations (the world) what the Lord has fulfilled.

A promised pastor, given that he keeps the promises of God, is chosen and appointed as ruler and as the one who speaks on God’s behalf.

Jesus Begins His Ministry, Shincheonji Bible Study

Shincheonji Bible Study
Jesus Begins His Galilean Ministry

  • Mt 4:12~17
12 When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee.

13 Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtaliㅡ

14 to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:

15 “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles?

16 the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”
17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

  • Isa 9:1~2
1 Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan?

2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

John 1:11~14, 17~18

11. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
12. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—
13. children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

17. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
