Shincheonji Teaching: Spiritual War and Persecution

<Shincheonji Bible Teaching>

'Spiritual War and Persecution'

  • Eph 6:11-17
11.Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12.For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13.Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14.Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15.and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16.In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17.Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Who are those who killed the prophets and the apostles whom God sent in the past 6,000 years of God’s work? Why did they kill?

As written, the people who killed those whom God sent were not nonbelievers of Gentiles, but they were the pastors of the chosen people who claimed to believe in God.

The reasons for their murders were:
① that their gods (the spirits) were different,
② and that they wanted to hold on to their ecclesiastical authorities and congregation,
③ and that their teachings were different.

The pastors of that era were the ones who personally killed the messengers whom God sent, and the pastors killed under the control of Satan (the evil spirit).

Although the congregation members belonging to the pastors did not directly persecute like the pastors, they did become one with the pastors and participated in the persecution.

[Shincheonji Answer 18] Path of World of Faith

<Shincheonji Answer 18>
The Path of Faith World

  • Mr. Lee Byoungchul, Question 18.
Believers sometimes become fanatical.
What is the difference between a communist being fanatical about communism and a believer being fanatical about religion?

  • Shincheonji Answer 18.
Whether a person is fanatical about communism or about a life of faith, it is the same in terms of being fanatical. However the content and purpose of what the person is fanatical about are different.

When believers come to know themselves, the world, the devil and the true Creator, they escape from evil and walk on the right path.

On the other hand, those who follow communism do not follow it because they want to.
Instead, they are forced to follow it by the communist authorities.
They lose their freedom and are dragged by it.

In terms of the world of faith, the origin itself is a different path.
