The Reason That We Must Believe in the Bible

The Reason That We Must Believe in the Bible
(the Old Testament and the New Testament)

What is the reason that we must believe in the Old Testament and the New Testament?

The reason that we must believe in the Old Testament and the New Testament, which are God’s promises: God appeared before Jeremiah about 2,600 years ago and promised ①the new thing, ②the sowing of the two kinds of seeds, and ③the new covenant (Jer 31:①22, ②27, ③31). Do you believe this, in the Bible?

About 600 years after that time, God, who had come to Jeremiah and made the three promises, came to Jesus and fulfilled the three promises (①Mt 1, ②Mt 13, ③Lk 22:14-20). Will you believe this?

Jesus who sowed the seed, as God promised, made a promise to return and harvest (Mt 13, Rv 14), then left. Do you believe this? Will you believe this, in the Bible?

Jesus who promised to return to harvest, harvested and sealed the firstfruits as promised in Rv 14:14-16 and created the twelve tribes. Will you believe this?

The two kinds of seeds were sown in one and the same field (Mt 13:24-25). At the time of harvest, only the sons of God, who were born of God’s seed, become harvested. The weeds, who are born of the devil’s seed, who are the sons of the devil, do not become harvested, and are left on the field (Mt 13:26-30, 37-40).

This is how the sons of God, who are born of God’s seed, are separated from the sons of the devil, who are born of the devil’s seed. Will you believe this? Answer. Will you believe this, in the Bible? Answer~!

Among these two, who is the orthodox and who is a cult? Say it~!

The proof of being a person of Shincheonji is the fulfilled physical entity itself.  This is the new covenant God has been wanting and has been promising for such a long time.

This is the covenant God made with us today. Let us keep the new covenant, the Book of Revelation. One who does not believe this and does not keep it has not been born of God’s seed. It is proof that such a person has not been sealed. Shincheonji, which has been fulfilled according to the new covenant, (Revelation) is the kingdom of heaven and it is life.

"Magi Come to Worship Jesus,
king of the Jews was born in Bethlehem"

  • Main references: Mt 2:1~12, Mic 5:2, Jn 14:29

 Fulfillment of the Old Testament
- Jesus, king of the Jews was born in Bethlehem-

  • Matthew 2:1-12

1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem

2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.

4 When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born.

5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:

6 “ ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’ ”

7  Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared.

8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

9 After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.

10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.

11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

<Old Testament part>

At the time of Moses, God fulfilled all the prophecies that He had made with Abraham. No one will not know that the prophecies have fulfilled if there is no record of it.  Jesus came and fulfilled all the prophecies that God had made through the Old Testament prophets.

God the Creator of the heavens and the earth was once with His creation Adam, but when Adam betrayed, He left and chose Noah. God brought judgment upon Adam’s world and created the world of Noah.

God left the world of Noah again because Ham, Noah’s son, sinned.  He then came to Abraham and promised what was to come.

After Abraham’s descendants multiplied and became fruitful in Egypt, God came to Moses and brought judgment upon Noah’s world (the world of Canaan, the son of Ham) and established the nation of Israel.

When Solomon, the king of Israel betrayed, God went to the Old Testament prophets and promised what will be fulfilled in the future; He promised to come to a child born of a virgin and be with him (Jesus) in Isa 7:14.

After this, God came to Jesus who was born of the virgin, Mary, and was with Jesus as He fulfilled all the promises He had made through the Old Testament prophets.

Then God promised the New Testament through Jesus, who after his ascension, showed his disciple John a vision of what he will fulfill in the future, that is, the book of Revelation.  He had John record it.  This is the promise of the New Testament that he will fulfill.

In the Old Testament, Revelation and Fulfillment: Shincheonji Teaching

Shincheonji Teaching:
In the Old Testament,
Revelation and Fulfillment

■ The revelation prophesied by vision
in the Old Testament and its fulfillment

▪ Main reference: Isa 29:9-14, Hb 2:2-3, Ez 3:1-11

Prophets and seers were blind as God has brought over them a deep sleep, sealing their eyes and covering their heads.  Therefore, the vision revelation was a sealed scroll that no one understood. People learned only rules taught by men. So God promised to do a wonder again, because the people were far from him in their hearts, though they came near to him with their lips. The ‘wonder’ means the word of vision revelation (prophecy) and its fulfillment.

Prophet Habakkuk said that this vision revelation had an appointed time, which would certainly come. It is written in Ez 1-3 that God came to Prophet Ezekiel after the chosen people went into exile (Ez 1).  He called him, ‘Son of man,’ opened the sealed scroll of the vision revelation and gave it to him to eat (Ez 2). He told him to give his warning to the rebellious Israelites (Ez 3).

After 600 years, this prophecy was fulfilled through Jesus.  Jesus received the revelation, the open scroll and gave it to the Israelites (Mt 15:24).  Jesus said of them as written in Isa 29, ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, as their teachings are but rules taught by men’ (Mt 15:7-9).  He called the teachers of the law and the Pharisees who were the pastors at that time, ‘blind guides who lead blind men’ (Mt 15:14).  He also said, ‘No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him’ (Mt 11:27), and ‘Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent’ (Jn 17:3).

Today is same as then. The deaf and the blind lie with their corrupted tradition, place their religious influence as priority, and disregard the revelation and the Truth.

Shincheonji News: The Physical Entities of the Prophecies-the time of Jesus

Shincheonji News:
The Physical Entities
of the Prophecies
<the time of Jesus>

The physical entities of the promises God had made to the Old Testament prophets were John the Baptist, Jesus, his mother, Bethlehem, the foal of a donkey, Jerusalem, the pastors in Jerusalem, the Pharisees and the teachers of the Law, the Jews, Jesus’ 12 disciples, Judah, the tomb, the cross, and many more.

At the time of Moses, God fed the people by raining down manna from heaven, and at the time of Jesus, He fed the 5,000 with the five loaves and two fish. Why were the chosen people of Israel not able to believe when the Old Testament prophets had been prophesying to them for many years? When the promises were fulfilling, Jesus’ disciples believed and were even able to go into martyrdom, but the chosen people of Israel were not able to believe, because the devil had been in control over this world since God left. Even though they claimed that they believed, they were under the devil’s rule and influence.

When we look into the history of the past 6,000 years, there were conflicts, quarrels, and wars each time God’s messenger came, because Satan persistently worked to prevent God from stepping foot into this world to establish His nation and His mindset.  Satan worked by deceiving the entire world and entering the believers (the pastors) who claimed that they believed in God. Thus, the people and the pastors at that time did not believe nor kept God’s promises (prophecy) that He made through the Old Testament prophets.

Shincheonji Bible Study: 'The Prophecy and the Revelation of the Old Testament'

Shincheonji Bible Study,
'The Prophecy and the Revelation

of the Old Testament'

Shincheonji Bible Study Main reference: Is 29:9-14

What are the sealed book and the revelation of the Old and the New Testament?

Today's Shincheonji Bible Study subject is the prophecy
and the revelation of the Old Testament.

★ Shincheonji Bible Study
Shincheonji mastered the Book of Revelation and
now testifies to its prophecies and the fulfillment
according to the five Wh's and one H.

God prophesied through the Old Testament prophets what he would fulfill in the future. Because the prophecies were figurative, and at that time the true entities didn’t appear, it was but words of a sealed book. In this sense, the prophets and the seers were blind.

Daniel asked to know the meaning of the prophecies, but God said, ‘Close up and seal the words until the time of the end,’ (Dn 12:4, 8-9). When the appointed time comes (Hb 2:2-3), God opens and gives the revealed book to the Son of Man, and tells him to preach it to rebellious, chosen people (Ez 3).

This is a prophecy that had to have been fulfilled; and during when it is fulfilled, the fulfillment must match the words of the prophecy.

The prophecies stated above have been fulfilled in Matthew 11:27, Matthew 15, and John 19:30. The revelation comes as prophecies of the Old Testament fulfill, and this revelation consists of testifying the physical fulfillment (physical entities) of the prophecies.

Jesus made known to the twelve disciples (twelve tribe leaders) this revelation, and the twelve disciples preached it (physical fulfillment) (refer to Gal 1:11-12). Apostle Paul threw away the much knowledge of the Law that he had, and only taught the revelation of Jesus (Phil 3:7-9).

2000 years after Jesus’ left, pastors of the world have preached the word of revelation regarding Jesus fulfilling the Old Testament. Their ministry has been tied to the revelation of the First Coming, just as people were tied to the Law of Moses before Jesus came. God’s work, however, is not completed by the Old Testament being fulfilled.

The New Testament remains. Just as the Law of Moses was elementary compared to the revelation of the Old Testament, so the revelation of the Old Testament becomes elementary compared to the revelation of the New Testament (Gal 3:23-27; 4:3-5).

Therefore, all the pastors  of the world should not be satisfied with the revelation of the First Coming. They must come out to the revelation of the New Testament, that is, to maturity, to be saved (refer to Heb 6:1-2).
