- Shincheonji Fulfillment Testimony: Revelation 2:12-17
12. To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword.
13. I know where you like-where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city- where Satan lives.
14. Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality.
15. Likewise you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16. Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.
This is a letter from Jesus, sent by his messenger John, to the messenger of the church in Pergamum. John begins the letter by calling it is the "solemn pronouncement of the one who has the sharp double-edged sword" (Revelation 2:12). John says this to reveal that he is sending the letter on behalf of Jesus.
After praising the messenger for maintaining his faith despite living where Satan has his throne (Revelation 2:13), Jesus rebukes him for allowing people in Pergamum to follow the teachings of Balaam(Revelation 2:14-15). Where is this place where Satan has his throne?
The throne of Satan refers to the Nicolaitans. Satan has come to them, made them his throne, and is working through them. Although the messengers of the tabernacle of the seven golden lampstands had been working in the right hand of Jesus (Revelation 2:1) when the Nicolaitans enter, their tabernacle also becomes the throne of Satan.
The Nicolaians are the doctrines these destroyers receive from Satan. People who refuse to repent and rid themselves of the false doctrines of the destroyers will be punished with the sword of the world(Eph 6:17) from the mouth of Jesus.
The hidden manna Jesus promises to the one who overcomes (Revelation 2:17) represents the words of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, which have been hidden in figurative lnguage until today. In addition to the hidden manna, Jesus promises the one who fights and overcomes the Nicolaitans a white stone in Revelation 2:17. This white stone is the word of judgment in the Bible. And the new name that Jesus writes on the white stone is Jesus' new name in Revelation 3:12.
The book of Revelation is as evidence for physical fulfillment.
The prophecies of Revelation that were sealed in parable physically fulfilled today.
