- Revelation 1:4
John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,
None other than the one whom Jesus promised in the New Testament of the Bible—the one who sent letters to the seven messengers of the seven churches (Rv 2, 3); the one who received the manna, the white stone, and the iron scepter that rules all nations, and sits on Jesus’ throne with him (Rv 2, 3); the one who received the open scroll in Rv 10; the messenger who is sent in the name of the Lord (Jn 14:26, Rv 22:16); and the one who has seen all of the events of Revelation at the location of those events (Rv 22:8)—can be the promised messenger whom the Lord sent. Today, the time of the fulfillment of the New Testament, God’s secret described in Am 3:7 is the Book of Revelation, and the person who has seen and heard all the events of Revelation knows the physical entities of Revelation.
To fulfill His purpose, the true God spoke about future events ahead of time. He promised or prophesied to send a pastor when the prophecies fulfill so that he can testify to the fulfillment. This is why there are prophecies and the promised pastor. No one should think that a religion is true when it does not have prophecies or a promised pastor. And no one should believe that someone is a true pastor simply because he teaches to be kind and do good deeds.
The most trustworthy religion is the one that has prophecy and fulfillment, because they prove that it is the true religion that God promised. A religion that cannot prove itself is not a religion from God. Every era, such as the time of Moses, Jesus’ first coming, and the time of the one who overcomes in Revelation, had prophecies and a promised pastor who came and fulfilled the prophecies. This is the evidence that a religion is true and that it is from the true God.
Jesus came as the promised pastor and fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies God had made through the prophets. Then Jesus made more promises through Apostle John 2,000 years ago—the Book of Revelation of the New Testament—and these prophecies have fulfilled.
The promised pastor is testifying to their fulfillment based on 5 Whs and 1 H.
- Revelation 22:16
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David and, the bright Morning Star."
The promised pastor in the Bible who knows and testifies all of the physical entities of Revelation, did you meet him?
