Jesus & Faith of Centurion

Jesus and
The Faith of
the Centurion

Jesus was amazed and said,
Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone
in Israel with such great faith.

Main reference: Matthew 8:5~13

5. When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.

6. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”

7. Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”

8. The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

9. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

10. When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

11. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

12. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

13. Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.

God’s Will, in the Bible

God’s Will and Those Who Are Qualified
to Enter the Kingdom of Heaven

God’s will is the promise of the New Testament, the entire Book of Revelation. Because it is the will of God, anyone who adds or takes words away from the book of Revelation cannot enter the kingdom of heaven (Rv 22:18-19). This is why Jesus said, “Blessed are those who read, hear, and keep the words of this prophecy (Rv 1:3).”

Where is the kingdom of heaven?
What is the will of God?
And who is qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven?

The kingdom of heaven is where God dwells.

God’s will is a promise, a prophecy.

And those who are qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven are those who are reborn of water and the Spirit according to God’s will (Jn 3:5).

  1. The kingdom of heaven: The kingdom of heaven is where God dwells.
  2. The will of God: A promise, a prophecy
  3. Qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven: Those who are reborn of water and the Spirit according to God’s will (Jn 3:5)

True religion belongs to the heavens. It is not a worldly knowledge or a culture of the earth, but the Word of God that is learned from God. Today one can only receive salvation if he believes and keeps the promises of heaven. And God and the Bible promise that there will be a kingdom, people, and a pastor of God.

Jesus’ blood was shed 2,000 years ago to redeem the promised kingdom and people from sin. This is the promise of God, and they are the kingdom, people, and pastor born of God’s seed. They are the people who are qualified to receive salvation.

Leper in the Bible

Leper
in the Bible

First,  To understand of religion

Jesus healed a man with leprosy and Jesus said he doesn't tell this to anyone,,, but the leper is spreding... :;

  • Matthew 8:1~4 (Jesus Cleanses a Leper)
When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”   Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

  • Mark 1:40~45 (Jesus Treated for Leprosy)
A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.”   Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”  Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.   Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: “See that you don’t tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”  Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

  • Luke 5:12~16 (Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy)
While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”   Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.   Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”    Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Psst, Jesus Said to him, Offer the Sacrifices that Moses Commanded for his Cleansing,
What's that Mosses Commanded for Healed Leper in the Bible(Old Testament)?

  • Leviticus 14:1~57 (Cleansing From Defiling Skin Diseases)

The Ritual for Cleansing Healed Lepers

The Lord said to Moses, “These are the regulations for any diseased person at the time of their ceremonial cleansing, when they are brought to the priest: The priest is to go outside the camp and examine them. If they have been healed of their defiling skin disease,  the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the person to be cleansed. Then the priest shall order that one of the birds be killed over fresh water in a clay pot. He is then to take the live bird and dip it, together with the cedar wood, the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, into the blood of the bird that was killed over the fresh water. Seven times he shall sprinkle the one to be cleansed of the defiling disease, and then pronounce them clean. After that, he is to release the live bird in the open fields.

“The person to be cleansed must wash their clothes, shave off all their hair and bathe with water; then they will be ceremonially clean. After this they may come into the camp, but they must stay outside their tent for seven days. On the seventh day they must shave off all their hair; they must shave their head, their beard, their eyebrows and the rest of their hair. They must wash their clothes and bathe themselves with water, and they will be clean.

“On the eighth day they must bring two male lambs and one ewe lamb a year old, each without defect, along with three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil. The priest who pronounces them clean shall present both the one to be cleansed and their offerings before the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

“Then the priest is to take one of the male lambs and offer it as a guilt offering, along with the log of oil; he shall wave them before the Lord as a wave offering. He is to slaughter the lamb in the sanctuary area where the sin offering and the burnt offering are slaughtered. Like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; it is most holy. The priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot. The priest shall then take some of the log of oil, pour it in the palm of his own left hand, dip his right forefinger into the oil in his palm, and with his finger sprinkle some of it before the Lord seven times. The priest is to put some of the oil remaining in his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering. The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed and make atonement for them before the Lord .   “Then the priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from their uncleanness. After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering and offer it on the altar, together with the grain offering, and make atonement for them, and they will be clean.

“If, however, they are poor and cannot afford these, they must take one male lamb as a guilt offering to be waved to make atonement for them, together with a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of oil, and two doves or two young pigeons, such as they can afford, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.

“On the eighth day they must bring them for their cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the Lord . The priest is to take the lamb for the guilt offering, together with the log of oil, and wave them before the Lord as a wave offering. He shall slaughter the lamb for the guilt offering and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot. The priest is to pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand, and with his right forefinger sprinkle some of the oil from his palm seven times before the Lord . Some of the oil in his palm he is to put on the same places he put the blood of the guilt offering—on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot. The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to make atonement for them before the Lord . Then he shall sacrifice the doves or the young pigeons, such as the person can afford, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make atonement before the Lord on behalf of the one to be cleansed.”

These are the regulations for anyone who has a defiling skin disease and who cannot afford the regular offerings for their cleansing.

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a spreading mold in a house in that land, the owner of the house must go and tell the priest, ‘I have seen something that looks like a defiling mold in my house.’ The priest is to order the house to be emptied before he goes in to examine the mold, so that nothing in the house will be pronounced unclean. After this the priest is to go in and inspect the house. He is to examine the mold on the walls, and if it has greenish or reddish depressions that appear to be deeper than the surface of the wall, the priest shall go out the doorway of the house and close it up for seven days. On the seventh day the priest shall return to inspect the house. If the mold has spread on the walls, he is to order that the contaminated stones be torn out and thrown into an unclean place outside the town. He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town. Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house.

“If the defiling mold reappears in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house scraped and plastered, the priest is to go and examine it and, if the mold has spread in the house, it is a persistent defiling mold; the house is unclean. It must be torn down—its stones, timbers and all the plaster—and taken out of the town to an unclean place.

“Anyone who goes into the house while it is closed up will be unclean till evening. Anyone who sleeps or eats in the house must wash their clothes.

“But if the priest comes to examine it and the mold has not spread after the house has been plastered, he shall pronounce the house clean, because the defiling mold is gone. To purify the house he is to take two birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop. He shall kill one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot. Then he is to take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet yarn and the live bird, dip them into the blood of the dead bird and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times. He shall purify the house with the bird’s blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn. Then he is to release the live bird in the open fields outside the town. In this way he will make atonement for the house, and it will be clean.”

These are the regulations for any defiling skin disease, for a sore, for defiling molds in fabric or in a house, and for a swelling, a rash or a shiny spot, to determine when something is clean or unclean. These are the regulations for defiling skin diseases and defiling molds.

Jesus Teaching in the Bible

Teaching of Jesus
in the Bible

 <Build on the Rock>

The Wise and Foolish Builders

  • Matthew 7:24~29
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.

Shincheonji Bible Study: Meaning Behind Promises of New Testament

The Meaning
Behind the Promises
of the New Testament
[Shincheonji Bible Study]

Not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only he who does the will of God (Mt 7:21).

  • Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’  Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Today, what we have to believe in is the prophecy of the New Testament. Having a true faith is to see this prophecy being fulfilled, believe in it (Jn 14:29), and act accordingly.

Someone may think that he is carrying out a life of faith, but if he does not know the meaning behind the promises of the New Testament and does not know what content is in it, then how can he perceive and believe when the promises fulfill?

The Bible, especially the New Testament, speaks of the true God and the false god who is the devil and Satan. Contents on God’s Word and Satan’s word are also written in the bible.

There are also events that must take place in the future, in the bible.

The Bible also shows that the result for those who believe and those who do not believe is either heaven or hell, eternal life or eternal punishment.

The appointed task of the counselor in the bible

The appointed task of the
counselor, advocate,
in the bible

'The appointed task of the counselor in the bible' continued from 'The Counselor, in the Bible'  http://goo.gl/Vg5xiV

  • John 15:26
[Testify about Jesus]
“When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.

  • John 16:8-11
[Prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:  about sin]
When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:  about sin, because people do not believe in me;  about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer;  and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

  • John 16:13
[Will Guide you into all the truth
Will not speak on his own
Will speak only what he hears
Will tell you what is yet to come]

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

  • John 16:14
[Will glorify Jesus]
He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.

  • John 16:25
[Figuratively X, Planinly O]
“Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father.

Have you met advocate, counselor,
who has the appointed task of the counselor in the bible?

Another Advocate, Counselor, in the bible

Another Advocate(Counselor)
who speaks on behalf of Jesus
in the bible

The promised pastor became the Advocate,
the another Advocate sent by Jesus (Jn 14:16)

God came and spoke through Jesus (Jn 14:24) who came according to the Old Testament (Isa 19:1). On this account, Jesus was the Counselor and Advocate who spoke on behalf of God.

Jesus asked God for another Advocate (Jn 14:16-17), so God sent the Spirit of truth. Because the Spirit of truth dwells in a person (Jn 14:17) and speaks through that person (promised pastor), the promised pastor becomes the Counselor and the Advocate.

This is how God also dwelled within Jesus at the First Coming; Jesus spoke God’s Word on His behalf as the Advocate sent by God. Likewise, the promised pastor became the Advocate, the another Advocate sent by Jesus (Jn 14:16).

  • John 14:24
[God sent Jesus]
Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

  • John 14:16-17
[Jesus Promises Another Advocate]
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—  the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be  in you.

  • Revelation 22:16
[Jesus sent his angel for the churches]
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

[He will Proclaim Peace to the Nations]
10. I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the warhorses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken. He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

  • Micah 5:4-5

The Counselor, in the Bible

The Counselor,
in the Bible

The Spirit of truth, the counselor, is the spirit who speaks on behalf of Jesus. The flesh counselor, whom the Spirit of truth has become one with, is the pastor who speaks on behalf of the spirit of truth. This spirit and flesh become one and speak on behalf of the Lord
(Rv 19:10; Rv 22:17).

Main references: Jn 14:16-17, 26

The counselor or advocate (Bou Hae Sa: Korean term) is defined as the teacher who protects with grace.

There is a spirit who is named as the advocate (Jn 15:26), and there is also flesh who serves as the advocate (1 Jn 2:1; the advocate, refers to the word).  The advocate, in terms of the spirit, refers to the spirit of truth. The Bible calls this spirit, the spirit of the counselor.

The advocate in flesh, on the other hand, refers to the teacher who speaks on behalf, that is, the pastor promised by Jesus. Since the Lord has promised that the Spirit of Truth will be in you—a person (refer to Jn 14:16-17), the person whom the spirit of truth is with becomes the counselor of truth.

If there is a person who has become one with the spirit of the counselor, what should he be referred to as? He should be referred as the counselor/ advocate as well.

The promised spirit of the counselor and the promised pastor of the counselor become united as one, and together they testify about Jesus.

This takes place as it is promised (Jn 14:26). The counselor is referring to the advocate, the one who speaks on behalf. There is a spirit advocate as well as a flesh advocate. The spirit of truth, the counselor, chooses one flesh and becomes one with him. The spirit of truth brings the truth, and he speaks it through the lips of the chosen pastor.

The words that the chosen pastor testifies are the words of the one (Jesus) who sent the spirit. Thus, his testimony is the testimony of Jesus, the words of Jesus. This is how Jesus’ word and testimony are spoken on behalf of him.

The Spirit of truth, the counselor, is the spirit who speaks on behalf of Jesus. The flesh counselor, whom the Spirit of truth has become one with, is the pastor who speaks on behalf of the spirit of truth. This spirit and flesh become one and speak on behalf of the Lord (Rv 19:10; Rv 22:17).

Then, what is the appointed task of the counselor in the bible??

'The appointed task of the counselor in the bible' is continued in detail tomorrow (~.~*)

The Narrow Way in the Bible

The Narrow &
Wide Gates
in the Bible

<The Narrow Way in the Bible>

  • Main reference: Matthew 7:13-20

The apostle asked, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” Jesus answered, ‘Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to’ (Lk 13:23-24).

The narrow and confined path is the path to heaven which is persecuted. The path that many people go on is the path to hell which persecutes (Mt 7:13-14).

People who killed the prophets of God in the Old Testament were the pastors who called themselves true believers.

Also, people who killed Jesus and his apostles were the priests, that is, the pastors at that time. And, Jesus said the Second Coming of Jesus will be like that time.

Look at the organizations of today which boast about their tradition. Jesus said, ‘By their fruit, you will recognize them’ (Mt 7:15-20). They do not have the word of God but only the words of the world. Aren't money and power the only things they know?

The path of true believers who keep the faith and go on the right path is narrow and confined. This is because of the persecution from the wicked people.

  • Matthew 7:13~20
[The Narrow Gate and the Wide Gate]
13. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

[True Prophets and False Prophets]
15. “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
16. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17. Likewise, thornbushes, or figs from thistle?
18. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good
19. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Ask, Seek, Knock Shincheonji, in the Bible

Ask in the Bible,
Seek Promised Pastor,
Knock Shincheonji,

To the one that seeks and knocks,
The door will be opened and shown.

  • Matthew 7:7~12
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Repent all people under heaven!
Be equal, all people under heaven!

We hear the promised nation, the twelve tribes, the revealed word, and a new song being sung.

In the earthly churches, earthly word is preached by the earthly pastors.

On the other hand, in the church of heaven, heavenly word is preached by heavenly pastor.

Let us believe in the revealed word and be sealed by it.

Let us be born again by God’s seed, and live together with the Holy Spirit.

Today is the promised day that Jesus said He will dwell in us.

Now is the harvesting time that has been promised.

Do not lose this chance.

To the one that seeks and knocks, the door will be opened and shown.

Judge & Measure, in the Bible

 Judge & Measure,
in the Bible

Main reference : Matthew 7:1~6

The New Testament prophesied about the appearance of both persecutors and the savior. Just as the first coming fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies (Jn 19:30), these two groups will act according to the New Testament prophecies when the time of fulfillment comes. How, then, can we distinguish the persecutors from the savior? The Bible says in Matt 7:15-20 that we will be able to recognize them by their fruit (actions).

Why do persecutors persecute and slander others (Matt 5:10-12; Matt 7:1-5)?

Lots slanderous comments have been posted on the Internet. Who is doing such a thing? Where does the Bible say people should do this? The Bible tells us that those who lie belong to Satan and that we should not judge others (Matt 5:10-12; Matt 7:1-5; Jn 8:44).

These slanderous comments, therefore, must have been made by those who belong to Satan. Jesus commanded us to love, forgive, and bless others. Is that what they are doing?

The slanderous words that are posted on the Internet are lawless acts for which these people will be judged in the end. Believers should be able to discern whether these comments came from God or Satan by using the Bible as a standard. The pastors of the world fight against Shincheonji, not because it is a cult, but because do not want their congregation members to leave them and follow the real truth of Shincheonji.

  • Mt 7:1-6

The pastors of the world
fight against Shincheonji,
not because it is a cult,
but because do not want
their congregation members
to leave them and follow
the real truth of Shincheonji.
1. “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

2. For in the same way you judged others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

4. How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?

5. You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

6. Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.”

It is recorded in the Bible that those who pay no attention to their own faults but are quick to point out other people’s faults are hypocrites, like dogs and pigs. Even if they receive this great and precious Word of truth, they do not understand its value, like dogs and pigs.

Shincheonji Bible Study: Seed, in the Bible

[Shincheonji Bible Study]
"Seed", in the Bible

Those who Go to Heaven and Receive Eternal Life And
Those who Go to Hell and Receive Eternal Punishment

Main reference: Luke 8:11

Who will go to heaven and receive eternal life?
Who will go to hell and receive eternal punishment?

Heaven is the paradise where God dwells, and eternal life is to live eternally like God in this paradise.

Hell is a place where Satan is at, and it is a prison where people will receive punishment forever for the sins they committed.

The people who will enter these two places are different from one another.

One is born of God’s seed and the other is born of Satan’s seed.

God dwells with the people born of His seed, while Satan dwells with the people born of his seed.

Then, what is this "Seed" in the Bible?

  • Luke 8:11
This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.

The Reason Why the bodies of Enoch, Elijah, Moses, and Jesus do not exist on earth, in the Bible

The Reason
Why the Bodies of
Enoch, Elijah, Moses, and Jesus
Do not exist on earth, in the Bible

Main reference: Matthew 17:3, 4, John 17:17~19

As recorded in the Scriptures, the bodies of Enoch, Elijah, Moses,
and Jesus do not exist on earth.

Why?

It is because Father God took them. Is there a proof?

Yes.

What is that proof?

In Matthew chapter 17 of the New Testament, God, Jesus, Elijah and Moses appear in the clouds on the Mount of Transfiguration.

Weren’t they alive?

Why did they outlive others?

They were reborn, and according to John chapter 17:17-19,
they became holy like God.

  • Matthew 17:3, 4
Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.   Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

War and Weapon in the Bible

War and Weapon
in the Bible

  • Main reference: Revelation 12:7~11

What kind of war is in the Bible?
What kind of weapon is used in the war, in the Bible?

In Revelation 12, the blood of Jesus and the word of testimony were used to fight and overcome the group of the dragon.

Also, Ephesians 6:10-20 says, “Put on the full armor of God. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” We can see that it is not a physical war of the world but a spiritual war between truth and false teaching. So, those who lack knowledge will be destroyed (Hos 4:6), but those who have knowledge will be victorious.

We, as stated in Revelation 2, 3, 12, and 15, have fought and overcome the group of the dragon with the blood of Jesus and the word of testimony.

We started studying the Bible in small groups, according to God’s will. We were reared and sealed with the introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses.

We passed the graduation tests and finally became the soldiers of heaven.

In other words, we have fought and overcome because the Word was our sword, helmet, and the full armor.

We fought with the soldiers of Satan who became like the night for not having the word of light, and we defeated them.

By overcoming, we were able to judge the betrayers and the destroyers in Revelation 15 and 16.

This is the War and Weapon in the Bible.

  • Revelation 12:7~11
Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.   Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.   They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
