[Shincheonji Answer 16] The Rich and Heaven

[Shincheonji Answer 16]
The Rich and Heaven

  • Mr. Lee Byoungchul, Question 16.
The Bible compares a rich man entering heaven to a camel going through a needle’s eye. Does this mean the rich are evil?

  • Shincheonji Answer 16.
The rich are not evil.
There are two types of rich people: one is rich in terms of material wealth and the other is rich at heart. The end result of someone materially wealthy and someone who is materially poor is the same. They both have twenty-four hours and eat three meals a day. What is the difference?

However, it is different for those who are rich at heart.
If the rich cannot enter heaven, why did God give Job more possessions? People who are rich at heart do not lack anything, so they become complacent and do not seek. The materially rich feel like their bowls are still not full so they seek and work to gain more material wealth.

If one comes to know oneself and the true God, whether one has a lot of authority or much wealth, one would realize what the true treasure is and seek for it. The true treasure is life. Rather than seeking for food which perishes like a dream, people must seek after the food which does not perish and is eternal.

※ The Rich in their hearts (People who are rich at heart)
Spiritual Israelites do not have a heart that seeks to keep the New Testament and enter heaven. They have become rich in their hearts, and they are complacent.

(SCJ) Heaven and Hell

The words “heaven” and “hell” mostly appear in the New Testament Bible. “Heaven” appears 37 times (37 verses containing that term, in 18 chapters), and “hell” appears in 13 places (13 verses containing that term, in 8 chapters).

How are heaven and hell different from each other?

http://cafe.daum.net/scjschool/E4mY/574Heaven is where God the Creator is; it is a paradise where there is no death and pain (Rv 21:3-4). Hell is the fiery lake of sulfur; it is a where the eternal punishment of sin is given (Rv 19:20, 20:10, 21:8).

This judgment takes place according to Jesus’ words recorded in Jn 12:48, and according to Rv 20:12. Judgment takes place according to what people had done as recorded in the books (the Bible). From this judgment, those who kept the Lord’s commands go to heaven, and the sinners who did not keep the commands (covenant) enter the fire of hell.

Hell is where the devil is
Heaven is where God(*Word) is.

Every man must be sacred through the word of God (Jn 17:17-19), and then, the man can be the temple, and Holy Spirit of God will come to him and be with him. Therefore, he will guided by the Holy Spirit.

In the New Testament, people can attain heaven and eternal life when they meet the promised pastor, the advocate (Jn 14:26) who will come in the name of Jesus and after they hear, see and understand, they will be sealed and become the promised nation and people.

We, Shinchonji are being fulfilled according to the promise of Jesus. We pray that people who have hope in heaven, salvation and eternal life to come and be guided by the Holy Spirit into hope.

The difference between people who have perceived the parables of the secrets of heaven and those who haven't perceived it

The difference between people who have perceived the parables of the secrets of heaven and those who haven't perceived it

  • Main reference: Mt 13 (Ps 78:1-4, Mk 4:10-13, Jn 16:25)

Among the old secrets, that is, the secrets of heaven hidden since the creation of the world,
what are the parable of the two kinds of seeds and harvest?

God promised that he will speak things from of old with a parable to the next generation (Ps 78:2).
After one thousand years, God came to Jesus, and he accomplished the things promised in Psalm.
Thus, things from of old was told with a parable (Mt 13:34-35).

Jesus who spoke in parables said this parable was the secret of heaven.
This secret of heaven has been hidden since the creation of the world until today.

Also, Jesus said there are those who must know the secret of heaven and those who must not know it (Mt 13:10-15). People who must know it are those belonging to God, The difference between people who have perceived the parables of the secrets of heaven and those who haven't perceived it and people who must not know it are those belong to the devil.

Also, he said those who can’t perceive the parables are outsiders, and they can’t receive atonement for their sins (Mk 4:11-12). The difference between people who have perceived the parables of the secrets of heaven and those who haven't perceived it is the difference between God and the devil. It is the difference between people who have received atonement for their sins and people who haven't. Also, it is similar to the difference between humans and animals.

If so, mustn't people know the parables of the secrets of heaven? The secrets of heaven in the New Testament are written in parables. We must ask ourselves on how much we know about these parables.
If you truly believe in Jesus and his word, you must judge yourself whether you are an outsider or you belong to God. Also, you must determine whether you have received atonement for your sins or not.
