  The fruit of good and evil is the fruit of the spirit,

which is the ideology of both good and evil.

What is the fruit of good and evil, which Adam ate?

 

The fruit of good and evil is the fruit of the spirit, which is the ideology of both good and evil.

Since the serpent betrayed God’s affiliation and proclaimed himself to be God, he became evil after being good, did he not?

Thus, the fruit of good and evil represents the words mixed with good and evil.

The fruit of good and evil does not only have what is good, but it is mixed with both good and evil.


This fruit can be compared to a person who speaks words that are good and also does good deeds, but the same person may also speak evil words (lies) and commits actions that are evil.

Such a person will also betray, turning from good to evil. Because lies are found within the person’s words, his words are words of deception.

Q) Who is Adam, in the Bible?
A) Adam is the first man who was created by God.
     And Adam who was created by God’s own image and likeness.

• Gen 1:26-27

God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.   Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”   So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 

Adam, the first man who was created in God’s own image and likeness sinned. Therefore, all people born of the gene of Adam are all sinners. 
 
If people properly understand about God, religion, history, and ancestors, they will also understand that they are all are sinners since they are born by Adam’s gene.

As the ancestor is the same, we are all brothers and sisters.

Adam was created by God, but he betrayed and went to the serpent(= devil, Satan ☞ Rev 12:9, 20:2), taking with him all the inheritance given from God.

However, God has been working to restore everything back to its origin.

He has loved all creation giving us light, rain and air. This is God’s love that has given us life.

People sin after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death (Jas 1:15). God has loved even sinners, so whoever comes from God should love others as God does.

God made a man, who was mere dust (Adam), become a living spirit through the breath of life (Gn 2:7). However, this man, Adam, was deceived by the wild serpent (the devil), and Adam’s world became the possession of Satan. Furthermore, God had to leave the world (Gn 3, 6), and Satan came to rule over the world (Mt 4:8-9; Lk 4:5-6; Eph 2:2). For the last 6,000 years, God the creator has been working to restore the world that betrayed and fell into sin and wickedness.

God created Noah’s world, but it did not work out. Afterwards, God made promises to Abraham and created Moses’ world, the Israelites, but they betrayed again during the time of Solomon. They worshiped gentile gods just like Adam, and ended up becoming like Adam. In short, the worlds of Adam, Noah, and Moses walked on the same path of betrayal. All of them betrayed and worshiped pagan gods because they were born of the same genes of Adam, the sinner, and thus they bore the same ideology and the same wickedness.

People born of the seed of Adam and the serpent, are the family of Satan; it was the world of Adam. People born of the seed of Noah were the family and the world of Noah. Those who were born of the seed of Abraham were the family of Abraham and the world of Moses.

Those who are born of God’s seed are God’s children and His family, and they are the kingdom of God. Since they were not born of the genes of Adam, who was the sinner, they are not the ones who betrayed.

The past four thousand years of biblical history from Adam was the history of betrayal; but since Jesus, the seed of the gospel of heaven has been sown into the whole world (Mt 24:14).

Today, it has been roughly 2,000 years since the seed was planted. God’s world, the kingdom of heaven, is being accomplished by harvesting the fruit of the seed, which was previously planted. This world, which belongs to God, is the twelve tribes of Shincheonji.
