The Heart of Shincheonji

The life of every Shincheonji congregation member is carried out with the hope of heaven and eternal life. Everyday, Shincheonji congregation members are faced with troubles through curses, kidnappings, and fear of being taken away from their lives. However, with hope the smiles of joy still remain on the faces of each member. Why is that? How do Shincheonji congregation members feel?

How do Shincheonji Congregation members feel despite the animosity by others? Shincheonji congregation members always remember the heart of love, forgive, and bless. Instead of fighting and attacking with curses, the truth is shown as the truth speaks for itself. Everything that Shincheonji shows to the public is only what is the reality that is taken place.

There are many people in the world who fight against each other, but one thing that people never forget is the morality of being a human. Before we do anything as people, we must never forget to be humans first. What does this mean? Beasts of the world fight to kill and rule over the other, but as humans we must never forget that we have a heart to love instead of killing. People with the greed and pride of their hearts, must learn to understand one another and see in one another's shoes. By this we are human. Of the many beings that walk the earth, people are the ones who are able to communicate and learn to understand one another. Why should we stop for our own greed? Let us never forget that every person sees in a different way, and may have grown up in a different way, but the one thing that never changes is love. Let us love one another and come and see how our differences can be mended with love.

Shincheonji Ask Questions to CBS Ⅰ

<CBS’s Assertions and Shincheonji Rebuttals>

Rebuttals of CBS’s Assertions:
The Cult-Counseling Center
- Shincheonji Rebuttal 1 -

Does CBS know the reality of the cult-counseling center?

The denomination, academic background, and qualifications of the people managing the cult counseling centers are either obscure or insignificant making their position in their church unimportant.

These people made the conversion counseling their new territory to receive profits and establish their position in church. They have the impure will to revive the churches they are ministering in.

Coercive Conversion Education, in the Korean Christian society

<Coercive Conversion Education, in the Korean Christian society>
Why does Coercive Conversion Education, in the Korean Christian society?
For what?
Are Kidnapping, Assaulting, Threatening, even Beating Someone
to Death Allowed as Long as the Victims Are Not Part of Their Own?
What Other Evidence Do Christians Need, as Followers of Jesus?

Collective Madness towards Shincheonji—the Christian Society of Korea Loses its Sense

Coercive Conversion Education,
Bringing Murder

A few Christian media networks and pastors of certain denominations have been attacking Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, to a level of collective madness. Such attackers have been spreading irresponsible and unspeakable rumors though they claim to be the people of faith, even inciting murders of the members of Shincheonji.

October of 2007, a tragedy of murder took place caused by coercive conversion education. Instigated by a conversion pastor, Ms. Kim of Beolgyo, Jeonnam, was confined at a motel receiving a coercive conversion education until the police freed her.

But her husband, who led her to the conversion education suggested by the conversion pastor, continued to use physical and verbal violence against her. After the failed attempt at the coercive conversion education and their ultimate divorce, the husband ended up killing Ms. Kim with a blunt object by striking her five times.

Regarding this terrible murder, another pastor brought it up at a certain Christian Internet news column with puzzlement. The content of the posting, which discussed how the murder could not be justified, and the content of CBS’s programming are in the same context. How can it be justified to confine, press, ridicule, threaten, and use violence against a person for the reason of being a member of Shincheonji Church?

Shincheonji hereby strongly urges for an open debate to the public for the Korean Christian society to find its true role of religion and the believers, and to distinguish good and evil by determining which side (between Shincheonji and the Korean Christian society) is carrying on its correct life of faith based on the Bible.

Oh My God! CBS, a Christian Media Network

CBS, a Christian Media Network
 Inciting Kidnapping and Violence

Should the Leading Christian Media Network of Korea Continue with Falsified, Distorted, and Biased Reporting?

CBS, Holding Human Rights and Lives as Ransom for Monetary Profit

Starting March 16th, 2015, the self-claimed “leading Christian Media Network” of Korea, CBS, aired a documentary called, “People who have Fallen into Shincheonji.” However, this program was illegally filmed using hidden cameras without any consent of those who were filmed, with about 2,000 hours worth of footages of human rights violation. The program consisted of a biased reporting that vindicates illegal and coercive conversion sessions, and it aired slandering words of a few who are hostile to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji), without any objective discussion.

This program was based only on increasing ratings, with a completely lost sense of journalistic ethics. On the other hand, the airing of this program proved itself to be motivated to introduce the so-called “cult counseling facility” to the public and raise sponsorship.

CBS had already been in a previous scandal for airing a certain pastor’s sermon in exchange of 8 million Korean Won in monthly payment, though the pastor was warned by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Korea (GAPCK) in regards to the pastor’s heretical nature.

Does money ultimately determine how one is heretical or not?

On top of this, the CCK is using CBS’s falsifying reporting as a shield to hide the CCK’s own lies, though CBS’s reporting confused the people of Korea with its lies.

However, CBS’s false reporting has been purposely edited to slander Shincheonji in a biased way, and it publicly exposed the existence of coercive conversion sessions to the world that were only done privately.

Such airing is a gross violation of human rights, going against the Korean constitution and regulations that guarantee the citizens’ religious freedom, and it is also against journalistic integrity.

It is also absurd to publicly talk down on a specific denomination when the Republic of Korea does not have a national religion, just from the CCK’s arbitrary judgment to determine Shincheonji as heretical.

Such an act of condoning human rights violation should be investigated by the relevant government agencies!!

This is because the freedom of religion is guaranteed under the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, Article 20 Clause 1.
