To know about the fulfillment of prophecies, one must first understand the prophecies so that he can see, perceive, and believe them when they fulfill.

The promises Jesus made at the First Coming take into effect at the time of the Second Coming. 

For example, 
1. According to Jeremiah 31:27
2. Jesus planted the seed (Mt 13:24-25)
3. He promised to return to harvest(Rev 14:14-16) 

 And create God’s new nation to live with God the Creator and attend to Him for eternity.

For the believers in this era, the prophecy and fulfillment of the New Testament are more important than the prophecy and fulfillment of the Old Testament.
