Importance of prophecies and their fulfillment

• Mat 1:18~23(Fulfillment) ㅡ Christ birth of a virgin ㅡ Isa 7:14(Prophecy)

- All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: (Mt 1:22)

• Mat 2:13~15(Fulfillment) ㅡ Called out of Egypt ㅡ Hos 11;1(Prophecy)

- And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”(Mt 2:15)

• Mat 4:13~16(Fulfillment) ㅡ Jesus Beginins His Galilean Ministry ㅡ Isa 9:1~2(Prophecy)

- to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah: (Mt 4:14)

• Lk 4:16~21(Fulfillment)  ㅡ Proclaiming the Gospel of Heaven ㅡ Isa 61:1(Prophecy)

- He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” (Lk 4:21)
