Shincheonji Eternal Gospel: Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the 'eternal gospel' to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people ◈ Revelation 14:6 ◈
False Religions and the True Religion, False Pastors and the True Pastors
ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ
What do the religions believe in today?
>> They believe in the prophecies, the things that were promised.
What has been promised?
>> People must first see the history of the fulfillment of prophecies in order to believe that the prophecy of this generation will surely fulfill.
ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ ㅡ
Saying “I believe, I believe” when there are no prophecies are empty words. There must be a prophecy for future events and on what kind of pastor will be sent. Simply having the title, “religion,” does not make any group a true religion.
False religions are ruining the true religion, and false pastors are ruining the true pastors. But they are not aware of their actions, because they are so absorbed in their own religion and think that their actions are righteous.
That is why God spoke of the end of the age. God cannot stand by idly and watch when people cannot free themselves from being absorbed into their own religion. He promised to fulfill the prophecies of establishing a new kingdom and new people in a new era.
People are so absorbed in their own religion and their pastors that it is impossible for them to come out. Those who cannot believe in the new thing have created their own destruction. Who is to blame? God has been speaking of these things patiently for six thousand years, the destruction of humanity (by nuclear weapons) is very near, but if all religions on earth repent and unite with God like the people of Nineveh ※ Reference =>> Bible Story, Jonah to Nineveh (http://nomorenightriver.blogspot.kr/2015/09/bible-story-jonah-to-nineveh.html), then God will undo this plan. That is why the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Office was established to unite all religions (refer to Rv 21:24-27).
The destruction and the salvation of humanity lie on the religions. Let us all repent and save humanity. Amen!
Shincheonji church volunteer delivered food with our heart
This TV is a voluntary interview, not of a Shincheonji member, but of the general public regarding Shincheonji.
Shincheonji church volunteer delivered food with our heart. The volunteer organization of Shincheonji church have worked for a long time and many people have a good emotion. Let's wathch TV!!
Can you give a word of encouragement?
Even though other religions or other people have a prejudiced opinion about them, they sill come and work with smiling faces and do their best, and I think that is very fortunate.
Sometimes I wonder why they have to hear bad rumors.
But because of the kind and gentle volunteer director, who works hard with a bright smile, we have nothing else to ask for.
I just hope that they can continue to work zealously in good health.
Thank you for the interview.
Shincheonji interview: the general public regarding Shincheonji volunteers
It is a prophecy Apostle John recorded of future events he saw and heard in a vision by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit 2000 years ago, after Jesus’ ascension. It starts from Revelation 1 and ends in 22. Nothing must be added to it or taken away from the Revelation as its fulfillment is to be accurately revealed as recorded.
At the First Coming, Jesus received and ate the revealed book (opened scroll) spoken of in Ezekiel 3 and fulfilled the promises of the Old Testament (Jn 19:30). Likewise, at the time of Revelation’s fulfillment, the promised pastor receives the revealed book (opened scroll) and eats it in Revelation 10, fulfills it (Rv 21:6), and then testifies to it. A believer must have faith, therefore, that is, to believe in the promises in the Bible (prophecy) and what has been fulfilled according to the promises (fulfillment).
Jesus fulfills everything from Revelation 1 to 22 and sends his messenger to the churches to testify that the prophecy of the entire book of Revelation has fulfilled (Revelation 22:16). That means all churches on earth must accept the testimony from Jesus’ messenger of chapter 10 who received the opened scroll (revealed word). They must act according to God’s will to be qualified to enter the Holy City that has the tree of life.
Insisting on keeping traditions is like insisting on keeping only the Law, like the Jews. One must belong to Shincheonji of the twelve tribes that God created in Revelation to become a citizen of heaven in this new era. Whoever believes this will become a citizen of heaven.
The holy spirit can master the deepest things of heaven (1Co 2:10). Our faith must be accompanied by a knowledge of the word. We should speak from the Bible, answering questions using only the Bible.
Can you answer this questions in the bible? Answer this bible questions below only with bible~!
I would like to ask everyone who reads this article: How many of the New Testament prophecies do you know? Do you merely claim to believe without knowing the word? What are the two nations that battle against each other in Matthew 24 and Revelation? Who are the destroyers that stand on holy place? To which mountain must people flee in the midst of this destruction? What are the sun and moon that go dark? What are the stars that fall? If Jesus comes with his angels with a loud trumpet blast and gathers his elect from the north, south, east, and west (Mt 24:31; Lk 13:29), where is the place to which he gathers them? If the elect are gathered at the wedding banquet of the kingdom of heaven, where is the banquet located? What does it mean for the scriptures to say that the days of the Son of Man will be like the days of Noah (Mt 24:37-39)? What does it mean for Jesus to come like a thief bringing his angels for the harvest (1Th 5:1-3; Mt 13:39)? If the distribution of the food at the proper time coincides with this harvest (Mt 24:45-47), who is the one that gives people their food at the proper time? What does this food represent? If those who prepare the lamp and the oil can receive the Lord, what do the lamp and oil represent? Who is the one that sells the oil (Mt 25:1-13)? What do the wedding clothes represent (Mt 22:1-14)?
When God promised that Elijah would come before the messenger of the covenant, he was talking about John the Baptist (Mt 11:10-14, 17:10-13; Lk 1:13-17). When God promised to come, he fulfilled it by coming to Jesus (Ps 118:26; Jn 5:43). This is why Jesus referred to John the Baptist as Elijah. Jesus also said he had come in the name of God and that seeing him was like seeing the father (Jn 12:44-45). The Spirit of truth (the Counselor or Advocate), whom Jesus sends in his own name, is the spirit who speaks on Jesus' behalf. If that spirit dwells within a person, how should we address that person (Jn 14)? Isn’t it better to be able to answer these questions than to rashly persecute those who can answer them?
In the book of Revelation, which is a prophecy (i.e. revelation through visions), the revelation is passed down from God to Jesus, from Jesus to his angel, and from the angel to Apostle John. Finally, John testifies to the servants about the word of God and the testimony of Jesus – what he sees and hears (Rev 1:1-3). Since the testimony of John, who speaks on Jesus' behalf, is the same as the testimony of Jesus, anyone who refuses to accept John's testimony is refusing Jesus' testimony. Please also notice that the “one who reads” the book of Revelation is different from “those who hear it” (Rev 1:3).
Today, God, Jesus, the angel, and Apostle John are all spirits.Revelation, however, must become a physical reality just as the Old Testament became a physical reality in Jesus. Who, then, is the promised pastor (messenger) that testifies about the revealed word in Rev 10 and the physical fulfillment of all the chapters of Revelation after seeing and hearing them in reality? Is there anyone confident enough to say, "I can believe the physical fulfillment without understanding anything of these things you have mentioned!”?
Who are the seven messengers promised in Revelation 2 and 3? Who are the Nicolaitans (i.e. Satan)? What do the fruit of the tree of life, the hidden manna, the white stone, and the iron scepter that rules over all nations each represent? What does it mean to be written in the book of life? What does it mean for the one who overcomes to have God's name, the name of the holy city, and Jesus' new name written on him? Who is the one that defeats the Nicolaitans and is rewarded with right to sit on the throne of Jesus? Are you sure it is acceptable not to know these things?
Who belongs to the kingdom of God and its priests that were purchased by the blood of Jesus in Rev 5? If anyone who has truly witnessed these events were to proclaim what he saw and heard, would he not be persecuted as a heretic? What does it mean when Rev 6 says that the sun and moon become dark and that the stars fall to the earth? How can we understand the disappearance of heaven and earth? Who are the people that hide themselves after being abandoned? In Rev 7, who are the 144,000 of the 12 tribes sealed by God and who are the great multitude dressed in white robes? When and where do these people appear in reality? Can anyone be considered orthodox or be saved without belonging to the 12 tribes? Please answer these questions.
What do the seven trumpets in Rev 8 indicate? Rev 9 mentions horses with tails that have heads on them. If fire, smoke, and sulfur come out of their mouths to kill a third of humanity, what is the physical reality of this killing? When and where does this disaster occur? Who is the one that eats the revealed scroll from heaven and who are the peoples, nations, languages, and kings that receive the revealed words in Rev 10?
What does the beast of Rev 11 represent? Who are the two witnesses that are killed by the beast? Where and through whom is the seventh trumpet sounded? Can anyone receive salvation without hearing the sound of the seventh trumpet? Anyone who wants to claim to be orthodox or to have already been saved must be able to answer to these questions. Should we believe that members of a denomination that once worshipped the Japanese emperor instead of God are orthodox or that they have already been saved?
If the salvation, power, and kingdom of God (heaven) come when the group of the beast is overcome in Rev 12, and the fulfillment of these events are proclaimed from heaven, which heaven is it? Who are the woman, her male child, and the group of the dragon that are mentioned in Rev 12? Who are the people mentioned in Rev 13 that receive the mark of the beast and then worship him? When and where do they appear? Shouldn’t we be aware of all of these things? What is Mt. Zion in Rev 14? Who are the 144,000 firstfruits that have the name of God and the name of the Lamb written on their foreheads and that sing a new song before the throne at Mt. Zion? What is the new song that they sing before the throne? Where is the sea of glass by which those who have conquered the beast and his image and the number of his name stand (Rev 15)? Where is the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony to which all nations come and worship?
Who are the ones on whom the bowls of God's wrath are poured because of their betrayal (Rev 16)? Where is the throne of the beast? Rev 16 also mentions evil spirits that come out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. After coming out of their mouths, the spirits gather all the kings of the earth to Armageddon to wage war against God. Who are these kings of the earth? Where do the kings of the earth belong and with whom do they side? The kings of the earth commit sexual immorality with the prostitute who sits on the seven heads and ten horns of the dragon, and all the inhabitants of the earth become drunk with the wine of her immorality (Rev 17). What is the true identity of this wine of immorality? Do you think all the kings and inhabitants of the earth who unite themselves with the prostitute will obtain salvation?
What is the wine of immorality that causes all the nations to fall in Rev 18? Who are the merchants, the captains of every ship, the sailors, and their passengers? Who are the ones that marry the devil? When and where do they appear? After this event, people are invited to the wedding banquet of the Lamb; they come from the north, south, east, and west (Rev 19). Where is this wedding banquet held? From where are the people who are gathered coming? If Rev 20 testifies that the people whose flesh has united with the spirits will reign as kings with Christ for one thousand years, where does this happen? When do the first heaven and first earth disappear (Rev 21)? Where are the new heaven and new earth? Where does the holy city descend from heaven? Who are the ones that tell lies to confuse others instead of believing in these events when they become physical realities? Have those liars seen and heard the physical fulfillment of Revelation? Who are the ones that have God's name written on their foreheads and that reign as kings for ever and ever in Rev 22? What is the holy city that has the tree of life bearing 12 kinds of fruit? What is the water in which we must wash our robes to enter the holy city? What does it mean when the scriptures say that names are written in the book of life? Who are the dogs, sorcerers, idolaters, sexually immoral, and liars? What is the idol that these idolaters have worshipped? Furthermore, who are the spirit and bride? Who are the ones that add to or take away from the words of Revelation?
Please judge for yourself the identity of the true heretics. Is it those who understand the answers to all these questions and obey, or is it those who neither know the word nor obey it? Can anyone become orthodox and receive both the spirit and salvation without belonging to the 12 tribes of God or the multitude dressed in the white robes that are promised in Revelation?
Anyone who wants to know the answers to all of these questions should come to learn the new song at Mt. Zion – the place promised in the Bible – so that they might become a good grain (Rev 14:1-3). Today, there is a place where the physical fulfillment of the New Testament has appeared. The testimony about this fulfillment is being proclaimed, just as Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament at the first coming and testified about that fulfillment. Do not allow your ecclesiastical authority make you arrogant. Humble yourself and speak only the truth. Only when you repent, learn, and believe the words with obedience, can there be salvation for you. Again, today is the time of Revelation’s fulfillment.
After Adam’s sin, God promised to capture Satan who had been ruling over the earth (Rv 20:1-3). He promised to resolve the issue of sin and to establish His new people and kingdom, and He fulfilled His promises (Rv 1:5-6; 5:9-10, Rv 7).
In order to accomplish this, God promised in the Old Testament prophecies (after the time of Moses) that He would sow His seed and send the promised pastor.
This gospel of promise was preached for about 600 years, and then the promised pastor (Jesus) came and sowed the seed of the secrets of heaven.
Jesus also promised to gather the fruits from the seed he had sown to create God’s new kingdom (Mt 13:24-30, Heb 8:10), to capture and lock up the dragon (the devil) who had been ruling over the earth since the time of Adam, and to open a new era to create what is new.
God fulfilled at the time of Moses what He had promised with Abraham. God fulfilled at the time of Jesus’ first coming what He had promised through the Old Testament prophets, and at the time of Jesus’ second coming, He also fulfilled all that He had promised during the time of Jesus’ first coming.
This is the Bible, the promise, the prophecy and its fulfillment. This is God’s will, and our hope.
This TV is a voluntary interview, not of a Shincheonji member, but of the general public regarding Shincheonji.
Shincheonji church volunteer delivered food with our heart. The volunteer organization of Shincheonji church have worked for a long time and many people have a good emotion. Let's wathc TV!!
Shincheonji Gunsan Church volunteer deliver food with love TV▲
In the past year, I worked at the Shincheonji church in Gunsan as a volunteer, helping with distributing free meals at the soup kitchen. I am thankful that we can proclaim the kingdom of God by volunteering and that we are able to work with a healthy body.
The interviewee, Soon Young Seon, shared about the love of beautiful church volunteers of Shincheonji.
Please introduce yourself
I am Soon Young Sean, a soup kitchen dietitian operation in the Gunsan area where I have received a commission from Gundan Won Buddhism.
Is there a reason why you think that the Shincheonji church volunteers are special?
There are about 70 volunteering organizations taking turns serving. Among them, the Shincheonji church's turn is the first Sunday of every month.
During situations when other volunteer organizations cannot work during their turn, Shincheonji church is the first one we send an SOS to for help. They work invisibly, and they do a very good job so I'm always thankful for their efforts. They complete their entrusted work perfectly without being told. They illustrate being a "volunteer organization that is above the rest". When we hear about the church of Shincheonji, as many already know, it is slightly different than the other churches. At first, I had a prejudice about the church, but as I continued to work and watch them volunteer for ever a year, my opinion changed to 'Oh, Shincheonji church is really reliable and good religion.' They come and help whenever I request for help, and they are people that I am grateful towards.
By fulfilling what has been recorded from chapter 1 to 22 one by one, the actual entities that were prophesied about appear. Those actual entities are testified about through the words that prophesied about them.
Have you ever heard and seen the actual entities that are testified about?
We at Shincheonji Church of Jesus have mastered the Bible and are testifying according to the 5 Wh's and 1 H (who, what, when, where, why, and how) about the actual entities that have appeared according to the prophecies of Revelation.
As it was in the days of Noah and Lot (Lk 17:26-30), the ones who do not believe in Revelation will be destroyed and the ones who believe will be saved in the ark (the place of salvation).
Rather than speaking curses behind people's backs like the Pharisees, we hope pastors would accept our request for a public debate and come to an understanding through the public debate and the word of revelation of Shincheonji.
The reason why Shincheonji the Church of Christ knows about the tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the sign of harvest and end of age, and the three mysteries of Revelation, is because it has seen and heard through what has been revealed by Jesus.
Just as God told there would be the work of sowing two kinds of seeds and just as Jesus fulfilled it during his time, Jesus told that there would be the time of harvest and today he has fulfilled it. Who are the heretics at this time? Is it the weeds left behind in the field where the seeds were sown or the wheat that have been harvested into the barn? At the time of Jesus’ First Coming, they called Jesus, the Son of Man who sows the seed, a heresy and today they are calling Jesus “who came again to harvest” (Mt 24:31) a heresy. The reason for this is because the demon that called Jesus a heresy during his time has gotten into them. In the time of Jesus, as the pastors of Israel shut off the kingdom of heaven from men; for they do not enter in themselves, nor do they allow those who are entering to go in (Mt 23:13). Today the same thing is taking place. Those who believe in Jesus and his promised Words should follow His Word. The reason why Shincheonji the Church of Christ knows about the tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the sign of harvest and end of age, and the three mysteries of Revelation, is because it has seen and heard through what has been revealed by Jesus. The person sent by God testifies what he has seen and heard, and knows the Word of God for God gives the Spirit without measure (Jn 3:31-34). The believers should remind themselves that the time of the Son of Man is same as the time of Noah (Mt 24:37; Lk 17:26), and therefore must find the promised place of salvation in order to attain salvation.
Is there a good and true shepherd on this earth today who knows the truth? Isn’t today exactly like the time of the First Coming of Jesus? Actually, isn’t it even worse? Who will go against the truth before the Bible?
Take a look at their actions. They prefer money to the truth. They love to lie more than to speak the truth. They love ecclesiastical authority more than heaven; the evil more than love; and curses more than forgiveness.
They love to condemn others more than to have conversations with them, and to kill more than to save lives. They love those who are evil more than those who are righteous. They call what is heretic “orthodox,” label what is orthodox “heretic,” find joy in cursing, persecuting, and killing others, and consider such actions as a service to God.
They made up 14 lies and reported them to MBC PD Note, wanting to bury the reputation of Shincheonji. Although the police, the prosecution, and the judge exposed their lies and determined them not to be true, the evil ones still curse and speak abusively about someone who is older than their grandfathers. How can these actions be seen as what have been given through God’s lips, judgment, and action?
Do those who are held captive by evil know the words, “the Second Coming is like the time of Noah,” and that Adam’s generation received destruction through the flood as a result of evil? Isn’t ignorance evil and sin? Are their doctrines and claims of orthodoxy made up of lies, curses, and condemnation? Before calling them heretics, I believe even the devil itself is better than them, based on their actions. They are hooligans, and are ignorant.
Pastors of the Christian Council of Korea, listen.
Is it God’s Word or Calvin’s commentary? With whose teaching do you kill and curse people?
Answer!!
God, Jesus, and the Word are the truth, love and peace. If you are born from God, you will love others and preach peace just as God does (1 Jn 4). Thus, if you do not believe in love or peace, and are not acting upon love and peace, isn’t it because you have been born from a different spirit? You can find out the answer in Mt 13.
However, Shincheonji still prays for all of you. There is a reason why the congregation members of the Christian Council of Korea come gather to Shincheonji. Just like the content of 2 Corinthians 6:14 and following, they came out from that place to come to Shincheonji, New Heaven and New Earth, where the truth, love, and peace are. They have been crossed over from death to life. Why do you shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces, like the Pharisees the snakes, as you yourselves not enter nor let those enter who are trying to? (Mt 23:13)
We, Shincheonji, pray that the believers will cross over from the place of the devil and death, to the place of light and life where God and Jesus are (Rv 3:12).
The Christian Bible has clear prophecies and fulfillment. This is why we can say that it contains trustworthy evidences. However, other religious scriptures do not contain such prophecies or fulfillment. They do not describe God’s clear purpose, His will, which God fulfills.
The Christian Bible has clear prophecies and fulfillment. This is why we can say that it contains trustworthy evidences. However, other religious scriptures do not contain such prophecies or fulfillment. They do not describe God’s clear purpose, His will, which God fulfills.
Just because something is called a religion, it does not make it one. But rather, a religion must have promise and fulfillment.
When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.
Mark 1:30-31
Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they immediately told Jesus about her. So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
Luke 4:38-39
Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. So he bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.
5. When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.
6. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”
7. Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
8. The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10. When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
11. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
12. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13. Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.
God’s will is the promise of the New Testament, the entire Book of Revelation. Because it is the will of God, anyone who adds or takes words away from the book of Revelation cannot enter the kingdom of heaven (Rv 22:18-19). This is why Jesus said, “Blessed are those who read, hear, and keep the words of this prophecy (Rv 1:3).”Where is the kingdom of heaven? What is the will of God? And who is qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven?
The kingdom of heaven is where God dwells.
God’s will is a promise, a prophecy.
And those who are qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven are those who are reborn of water and the Spirit according to God’s will (Jn 3:5).
The kingdom of heaven: The kingdom of heaven is where God dwells.
The will of God: A promise, a prophecy
Qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven: Those who are reborn of water and the Spirit according to God’s will (Jn 3:5)
True religion belongs to the heavens. It is not a worldly knowledge or a culture of the earth, but the Word of God that is learned from God. Today one can only receive salvation if he believes and keeps the promises of heaven. And God and the Bible promise that there will be a kingdom, people, and a pastor of God.
Jesus’ blood was shed 2,000 years ago to redeem the promised kingdom and people from sin. This is the promise of God, and they are the kingdom, people, and pastor born of God’s seed. They are the people who are qualified to receive salvation.
Jesus healed a man with leprosy and Jesus said he doesn't tell this to anyone,,, but the leper is spreding... :;
Matthew 8:1~4 (Jesus Cleanses a Leper)
When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
Mark 1:40~45 (Jesus Treated for Leprosy)
A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: “See that you don’t tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.” Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.
Luke 5:12~16 (Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy)
While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him. Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.” Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
Psst, Jesus Said to him, Offer the Sacrifices that Moses Commanded for his Cleansing,
What's that Mosses Commanded for Healed Leper in the Bible(Old Testament)?
Leviticus 14:1~57 (Cleansing From Defiling Skin Diseases)
The Ritual for Cleansing Healed Lepers
The Lord said to Moses, “These are the regulations for any diseased person at the time of their ceremonial cleansing, when they are brought to the priest: The priest is to go outside the camp and examine them. If they have been healed of their defiling skin disease, the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the person to be cleansed. Then the priest shall order that one of the birds be killed over fresh water in a clay pot. He is then to take the live bird and dip it, together with the cedar wood, the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, into the blood of the bird that was killed over the fresh water. Seven times he shall sprinkle the one to be cleansed of the defiling disease, and then pronounce them clean. After that, he is to release the live bird in the open fields.
“The person to be cleansed must wash their clothes, shave off all their hair and bathe with water; then they will be ceremonially clean. After this they may come into the camp, but they must stay outside their tent for seven days. On the seventh day they must shave off all their hair; they must shave their head, their beard, their eyebrows and the rest of their hair. They must wash their clothes and bathe themselves with water, and they will be clean.
“On the eighth day they must bring two male lambs and one ewe lamb a year old, each without defect, along with three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil. The priest who pronounces them clean shall present both the one to be cleansed and their offerings before the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
“Then the priest is to take one of the male lambs and offer it as a guilt offering, along with the log of oil; he shall wave them before the Lord as a wave offering. He is to slaughter the lamb in the sanctuary area where the sin offering and the burnt offering are slaughtered. Like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; it is most holy. The priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot. The priest shall then take some of the log of oil, pour it in the palm of his own left hand, dip his right forefinger into the oil in his palm, and with his finger sprinkle some of it before the Lord seven times. The priest is to put some of the oil remaining in his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering. The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed and make atonement for them before the Lord . “Then the priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from their uncleanness. After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering and offer it on the altar, together with the grain offering, and make atonement for them, and they will be clean.
“If, however, they are poor and cannot afford these, they must take one male lamb as a guilt offering to be waved to make atonement for them, together with a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of oil, and two doves or two young pigeons, such as they can afford, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.
“On the eighth day they must bring them for their cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the Lord . The priest is to take the lamb for the guilt offering, together with the log of oil, and wave them before the Lord as a wave offering. He shall slaughter the lamb for the guilt offering and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot. The priest is to pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand, and with his right forefinger sprinkle some of the oil from his palm seven times before the Lord . Some of the oil in his palm he is to put on the same places he put the blood of the guilt offering—on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot. The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to make atonement for them before the Lord . Then he shall sacrifice the doves or the young pigeons, such as the person can afford, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make atonement before the Lord on behalf of the one to be cleansed.”
These are the regulations for anyone who has a defiling skin disease and who cannot afford the regular offerings for their cleansing.
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a spreading mold in a house in that land, the owner of the house must go and tell the priest, ‘I have seen something that looks like a defiling mold in my house.’ The priest is to order the house to be emptied before he goes in to examine the mold, so that nothing in the house will be pronounced unclean. After this the priest is to go in and inspect the house. He is to examine the mold on the walls, and if it has greenish or reddish depressions that appear to be deeper than the surface of the wall, the priest shall go out the doorway of the house and close it up for seven days. On the seventh day the priest shall return to inspect the house. If the mold has spread on the walls, he is to order that the contaminated stones be torn out and thrown into an unclean place outside the town. He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town. Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house.
“If the defiling mold reappears in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house scraped and plastered, the priest is to go and examine it and, if the mold has spread in the house, it is a persistent defiling mold; the house is unclean. It must be torn down—its stones, timbers and all the plaster—and taken out of the town to an unclean place.
“Anyone who goes into the house while it is closed up will be unclean till evening. Anyone who sleeps or eats in the house must wash their clothes.
“But if the priest comes to examine it and the mold has not spread after the house has been plastered, he shall pronounce the house clean, because the defiling mold is gone. To purify the house he is to take two birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop. He shall kill one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot. Then he is to take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet yarn and the live bird, dip them into the blood of the dead bird and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times. He shall purify the house with the bird’s blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn. Then he is to release the live bird in the open fields outside the town. In this way he will make atonement for the house, and it will be clean.”
These are the regulations for any defiling skin disease, for a sore, for defiling molds in fabric or in a house, and for a swelling, a rash or a shiny spot, to determine when something is clean or unclean. These are the regulations for defiling skin diseases and defiling molds.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
Not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of God (Mt 7:21).
Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Today, what we have to believe in is the prophecy of the New Testament. Having a true faith is to see this prophecy being fulfilled, believe in it (Jn 14:29), and act accordingly.
Someone may think that he is carrying out a life of faith, but if he does not know the meaning behind the promises of the New Testament and does not know what content is in it, then how can he perceive and believe when the promises fulfill? The Bible, especially the New Testament, speaks of the true God and the false god who is the devil and Satan. Contents on God’s Word and Satan’s word are also written in the bible.
There are also events that must take place in the future, in the bible. The Bible also shows that the result for those who believe and those who do not believe is either heaven or hell, eternal life or eternal punishment.
