CBS side ▶ CBS broadcasted lies that Shincheonji is the breeding ground for lies and crimes and that Shincheonji is a pseudo organization that distrupts the order of society.

Shincheonji side ▶ Shincheonji received the will of God and Jesus and is practices shining the light and love to the world. Shincheonji is making an effort for national love and to enhance national dignity. Where is the evidence of Shincheonji being the breeding ground for lies and crimes and disrupts the order of society?

It is wrong for CBS to judge and criticize for having different teachings compared to theirs.

Shincheonji side ☞ Shincheonji practices love and shines the light to the society by having peace movements, creating the Korean flag for the love of this nation, painting walls, helping underprivileged neighbors, and through more various voluntary movements. Also, Shincheonji is enhancing the nation’s pride by spreading the movement of the cessation of war and world peace, a movement that has never been done before, and making Korea a nation of peace.

Does CBS know that the confinement and assaults done during the coercive conversion education is illegal and violates the human rights?


CBS side ☞ CBS broadcasted lies that violence, confinement, brainwashing, and coercion happen in Shincheonji.

Shincheonji side ☞ In Shincheonji the freedom of belief is guaranteed, personal rights are respected, and God and Jesus’s love is practiced; therefore, it is impossible to have violence, confinement, brainwashing, and coercion. Also, brainwashing is changing the conscious a person once had in a different direction or altering a person’s mind to follow a specific ideology and thought. Shincheonji teaches with the Bible and there is no brainwashing done. On the contrary, coercive conversion pastors distort the truth, lie to Shincheonji congregation members, neglect the congregation members’ rights, defame them, forcefully practice the conversion education with their own standard (this is brainwashing), have the families violate individual rights by confining and assaulting instead to evade the law, and so on.

Does CBS know that the coercive conversion pastors are the ones

who aggravate and pressure people to divorce, leave home, school and work?

CBS side ☞ CBS broadcasted lies that Shincheonji provoke and pressure people to divorce, leave home, school and work.

Shincheonji side ☞ Believers of Shincheonji all manage their faith along with normal jobs, households, schools, and social lives. However, there may be congregation members who are personally passionate or have personal issues that lead to leaving jobs, households, school and etc. That is why each tribe made an official note on educating congregation members to not get a divorce, leave school or work and etc., because of their faith.

The coercive conversion pastors are rather those who stir conflicts within families with false statements and avert them from having a normal workplace, household, and school life.

Does CBS know the severity of the coercive conversion education?

 
The coercive conversion education is an illegal education that violates the law that assures the freedom of religion. Coercive conversion pastors aggravate troubles and conflicts in the family with distorted lies that eventually leads them to kidnap, confine, and use violence. Also, during this coercive education, families quit their job, school, and housework. Even after all this if the individual is not converted they are put into a mental institution.
