In the Bible, 'True God'

According to the Bible, the true God is ...

'The True God',
In the Bible

According to the Bible, the true God is the one who created the heavens and the earth and who recorded the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation in the New Testament.

  • Hosea 6:6
“For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.”

  • Hosea 6:3
“Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”

  • John 17:3
“Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

The Creator of the heavens and the earth is the true God, and His true Son is Jesus Christ. This is why God says that He desires acknowledgment of Him rather than burnt offerings and that eternal life is knowing the Son of the true God (refer to Hos 6:6, Jn 17:3).

Do you know the true God?
But how could you know the true God?
How?
The answer is in Matthew 11:27

  • Matthew 11:27
“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

in the Bible"

True God and False god in the Bible

Inside the Bible there is the true God (Jn 17:3) and the false god (refer to 2 Thes 2:3-4).

The true God created the Bible to make known what happened in the past to those who are not aware of it and make known the true God and Satan, the devil. He let the people know the history of the religious world. Through the Word which is the truth, He spoke of the past, the present, and the future. History, moral instructions, prophecies, and fulfillment are written in the Bible.

The prophecies are promises of events that will be fulfilled in the future (future events). There are prophecies that God’s people will betray, that Satan will interfere with God’s work, and that the true God will free His people who are held captive by Satan (refer to Rv 17:14, 18:4). This is the work of salvation, and these are the prophecies recorded in the Bible.
